Congrats - Shades Of '79 Options

To the Trooper family:

I watched this past season with great interest as it is the 30th anniversary of that very special moment in Trooper history: The summer of 1979. The progression of the season captured the attention of many, particularly alumni, I'm sure. It was remarkably similar to what we experienced in '79 and the corps rose to the challenge. I feel a huge sense of pride today as I learned of the outcome.

Congratulations to the members of the corps, the staff, volunteers and especially to the administration of the corps who took that bold and calculated step to suspend operations only to return to DCI finals in a very short time. A risky but successful endeavour that has had an outstanding outcome.

I try to attend a Trooper show as much as I can as I am from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Come back to the Michigan area again, will ya!! Long live the Long Blue Line of the 11th Ohio Cavalry!
