Well, we've had a few months off, but now it's time to ramp up the 11th Chats! The March edition will be held right on Thursday, March 11th at the usual time - 7:00 p.m. Mountain time. Some of the caption heads will be available to participate for a while, possibly all 4. We'll talk about the coming season, the camps, alumni and fan involvement, and whatever else comes up. The chat is open to all in the Trooper community: members, staff, family and friends. We would love to see a large number of marching members there, especially those new to the corps!
For those unfamiliar with 11th Chats, these are online, browser based events that do not require any software or passwords. Just show up and join in the fun. On March 11th I'll post the link here about 30 minutes before chat time. "See" you all next week! -------------------- Terri Everett

Sorry you couldn't be there Jim!
Caption heads for visual, brass and percussion were all there. (Thank you Nick Benson, Kyle Thompson and Kevin Welborn for your time and participation!) From what I recall the brass section is less than a handful away from full, percussion is full, and the guard numbers are aiming high. Jeffrey Cash (guard caption head) is recruiting like crazy. It' winter guard season and that is why guard numbers are not known until April. The participants were treated to a preview of the new uniforms. I've been assured that the shakos, yellow plumes and yellow spats will look amazing on the field. (I kid, I kid! The plumes aren't yellow. They're rainbow. -------------------- Terri Everett

Any idea what year(s) that was? -------------------- 72 - 78 Wausau Story Drumline

Please no plumes! Part of the amazingness of the Troopers is their not wearing a traditional marching band uniform. I like change but hopefully it will stay with a western kind of mood.
