STEP ONE: MANDATORY TRAINING & CERTIFICATION
Per DCI Policy 325, the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps must comply with all required staff trainings and certifications. We require all board members, administrative staff, logistical crews, instructional staff and members (ages 18+) participating in the organization to complete the online "SafeSport Trained Core Course" with the U.S. Center for SafeSport, along with updated refresher courses for those that have already completed the core course.
The U.S. Center for SafeSport is an independent nonprofit committed to building a sport community where participants can work and learn together free of emotional, physical and sexual abuse and misconduct.
MEMBERS 18+
If you have never taken the SafeSport Core Course before, please select "SafeSport Core Course (First Time User)." Once on the SafeSport website, you will be prompted to create an account. If this is your first time taking the SafeSport core course, you will not need to take the refresher courses until next year.

If you already have a SafeSport account and have taken the SafeSport Core Course at the Troopers or at another organization (including WGI), then you should login into your account and complete any remaining "SafeSport Refresher" courses that are still available in the catalogue.
