One Premiere, Three Ways to See the Troopers Kickoff the 65th Anniversary Season

Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps will debut their 2023 production “To Lasso the Sun” on June 27. This World Premiere event will offer three options for Troopers’ Nation to catch our 2023 Sunriders in action before they embark on their competitive summer tour.

The public is invited to a Community Performance at Tipton High School in Tipton, IN, that Tuesday evening. Gates open at the football stadium at 6:30 p.m. EDT on June 27 with programming starting at 7:00 p.m. (eastern). Troopers are set to perform at approximately 7:55 p.m. EDT.

In partnership with Box5 Media, Troopers will livestream the premiere event for fans everywhere. (7p EDT / 5p MDT). Viewers will be treated to a special episode of “Undercover Corps Director” in addition to seeing the Troopers perform To Lasso the Sun and an encore. Details on where to catch the livestream will be forthcoming. Please follow the corps’ social media channels for streaming updates.

Casper and Wyoming fans, family, and alumni are invited to a special viewing party on June 27 at True River Cross Commons in Casper. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. MDT. The stream will begin at 5:00 p.m. MDT.

Hometown party-goers can enjoy watching the livestream together and have access to special Casper-party-only perks. RSVP for a Troopers’ experience dinner or get tickets that night for theater-style seating. There will be special trivia, giveaways, a silent auction, and more. Help the Troopers kick off their 65th anniversary summer at this special event. Tickets for the Troopers Experience Watch Party Dinner in Casper are $20 per person. Please RSVP to Troopers’ Development to join us for a pulled pork dinner just like the Troopers’ Food Truck will serve that night. Email development@troopersdrumcorps.org by June 25 to reserve your dinner seating and plan to pay at the door. RSVPs will receive confirmation, location and any other essential details.

Tickets for the Casper Watch Party to catch the show without dinner are $5.00 and are available at the door. The Troopers will also provide a limited number of free watch-only tickets for high school band members at Natrona County and Kelly Walsh high schools. Please email development@troopersdrumcorps.org for info on student tickets.

Make plans now to see the first public presentation of what is shaping up to be a history-making show and help us kick off the Troopers’ 65th Anniversary Summer with a bang. For questions, email a.roberts@troopersdrumcorps.org
