Troopers January Callback Camp CANCELED Due to Weather State of Emergency

  • 2 min read

Dear Troopers Callback Candidates and Families,

After continuous monitoring of the situation and active consultation with the DCI Weather Team, as well as coordination with multiple drum corps organizations operating in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, we have made the decision to cancel the January Callback Camp scheduled for January 23–25, 2026.

The State of Texas has issued a Weather State of Emergency for much of North Texas, including the Dallas–Fort Worth region. Forecasts currently indicate prolonged freezing temperatures, significant ice accumulation, and widespread hazardous travel conditions, with substantial impacts expected to air travel, ground transportation, and regional infrastructure throughout the weekend.

This decision was not made lightly. We have remained in direct and ongoing communication with high-level weather professionals to evaluate timing, severity, and risk. Based on those assessments, canceling the January camp is the most responsible course of action to ensure the safety of our members, staff, and families.

February Callback Camp Information

All January Callback Camp tickets will be honored at the February Callback Camp, scheduled for:

February 27 – March 1, 2026Garland, TX (Same location originally planned for the January camp)

Travel Advisory

Families and attendees who have already booked flights for this weekend are strongly encouraged to contact their airlines as soon as possible. Many airlines are currently offering free flight changes or waivers due to the declared weather emergency and anticipated disruptions.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigate this situation with safety as our highest priority. We look forward to welcoming you in Garland in February.

I found this article informative and surprisingly easy to follow. The writer explains the main ideas in plain language, which makes a big difference for readers who are new to the subject. I also liked the way the information is organized because it allows you to quickly understand the important points. There is a good balance between basic explanations and practical details. Definitely a useful article for anyone wanting a clearer understanding of the topic.

Automation often starts simple but quickly requires more complex flows as needs grow. The progression from straightforward pipelines to conditional branching is a common path, and having concrete examples for each stage helps. The focus on practical cases like daily briefings makes the concepts easier to adapt to your own workflows. The automated workflow patterns guide is a useful reference for designing agent cooperation.
