Last month we were very excited to announce the appointment of Danielle Schweiger as the new Colorguard Caption Head of the Troopers. Today, we continue by adding on our 2019 Caption Manager Tim Coady, Choreographers Michael O'Neil and Alex Holland, along with the remainder of the Colorguard team.

Tim Coady was born and raised in the St. Louis area. While living in Missouri, Tim performed with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps and the Pride of Missouri State winter guard. After moving to Ohio, Tim broadened his horizons at Zydeco Colorguard, where he was honored with being 2014 Member of the Year, and the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps, where he served as colorguard captain for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Tim has a passion for inspiring students through colorguard, and has worked with programs across the United States. He has been involved with instructing other awarded programs such as Centerville HS, Lakota West HS, La Salle HS, Oregon Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, Colts Drum and Bugle Corps, Miami University, and Juxtaposition Winter Guard. Tim currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, serving as a colorguard educator in the Miami Valley. Tim is thrilled to be returning to the Troopers in this new role with such a dedicated team of educators.

Michael O'Neil was born in Chicago, IL before moving to Evansville, IN with his family.
He currently resides in Houston, TX as the Assistant Color Guard Director of Tompkins High School (Katy, TX). Michael has performed with a variety of winter guard programs around the country, including Eklipse (‘07, ‘09, ‘10, ‘11) and The Mark of NSA (‘08) before finishing out his performance career with Zydeco Color Guard in 2014.
As a marching music educator, Michael has been an instructor and choreographer for the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps (’12), Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps (’13, ’14), Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps (’15, ’16), Music City Drum and Bugle Corps ('18), and Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps ('18). Page HS (TN), Daviess County HS (KY), and Eklipse Winter Guard (TN).

Alex Holland, originally from central Minnesota, began his involvement with the marching arts in 2006 as a member of the ROCORI High School Marching Band (Cold Spring, MN) and later, additionally, the Saint Cloud All City Marching Band (St. Cloud, MN). He went on to march the Blue Stars drum corps colorguard 2011-2014 post-graduation, as well as True North (Minneapolis, MN), Zydeco Colorguard (Dayton, OH), Mayflower (Billericay, Essex, UK), and Juxtaposition (Westerville, OH).
He has been involved in an instructor role for a growing number of programs including ROCORI HS (MN), Irondale HS (MN), Elk River HS (MN), True North IW (MN), Lux Independent (MN), Eden Prairie HS (MN), Miamisburg HS (OH), Lebanon HS (OH), and the Blue Stars (WI). He currently is the primary designer and choreographer for Centerville HS (OH).
Now a resident of Dayton, OH, Alex is a full-time hairstylist. After earning his B.A. in Communication Studies from Saint Cloud State University (MN), he attended Elite Hair Academy (OH) to become a licensed cosmetologist. When he’s not doing hair or teaching a colorguard, you can find Alex hanging out with his dog, Hugh, and cat, Boo, watching TV or cooking up some random recipe he’s found online.
