The Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps is pleased to continue our focus on member health and wellness in 2020.

Jim Olea
Health Team Consultant

JIM OLEA joined Pacific Crest bass drum line in 1994 during their first year of competition. He continued to perform until 1996 and eventually went on to perform with Santa Clara Vanguard in 1997 where he won a gold medal for bass drum individual ensemble champion and placed 3rd overall in DCI finals.
Jim has been involved in DCI for the past 14 years. He is also the Health Team Coordinator for Pacific Crest Drum & Bugle Corps. In addition he is Drum Corps International's Marching Music Health Wellness & Safety Project Administrative.
In 2019 he helped develop the inaugural season of the Troopers Health Team. For the 2020 season we would like to welcome Jim back to the Troopers for his second season as Health Team Consultant.
Jim attended the Banner Institute of Chicago for Massage Therapy, where he graduated and became certified in December of 2006. He then completed his Fitness Instructor Training at McHenry County College in December of 2011, and went on to earn an ASS degree in Health & Fitness Education June of 2012, then later completed his certificate in Emergency Medical Technician in December of 2012.
Jim currently works at Good Shepard Hospital in Barrington, Illinois, as ER Critical Care Tech. and resides in McHenry, Illinois.
David Brangaccio, ATC
Athletic Trainer

David Brangaccio is pleased to be working alongside the Troopers for the 2019 summer tour. He was a percussionist from middle school through high school. In 2013, he joined WGI’s Bay Area Percussion based out of Tampa, Florida. He has been following DCI for more than 10 years over social media.
David attends the University of South Florida in Tampa and is graduating with a Masters degree in Athletic Training. Some notable clinical rotations that he has worked with are the USF football team, Saint Leo men’s lacrosse team, and spring high school sports in the area.
David is a huge sports fan, enjoys going to concerts, and is excited to travel to the West coast for the first time.
Stephanie Elmore, MD
MD, Consultant

Doctor Stephanie Elmore, MD is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician and owns the Starcare Family and Preventive Medicine clinic, in Irving, Texas. she has been in solo practice with two Physician's Assistants for over 20 years now. She is also a Clinically Affiliated Physician/Associate Professor with UT Southwestern.

M.D. 1994 U T Houston Medical School (Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society member)

Elizabeth Gough, LMSW
Wellness Coach

Elizabeth Gough is a Licensed Master Social Worker and has worked with all ages providing wellness support. Elizabeth received her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from College of Western Idaho and her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Social Work from Boise State University. She believes in the unique potential of every person she encounters and coaches from a strengths based perspective.
Arlington Hayne
Medical Staff

Arlington first joined the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps in the summer of 2014 on euphonium. He later served as a section leader in 2016 and eventually was the Horn Sergeant his age-out year in 2017. He continues to stay involved with the Troopers by serving as Secretary for the Troopers Alumni Association Committee. He has worked with a variety of groups, ranging from the Terre Haute North H.S. and Terre Haute South H.S. marching bands, middle-school jazz programs, and later served as an Assistant Instrumental Music Educator in a K-8 music program in Oviedo, Florida. He also plays in a local jazz combo and provides music lessons for students in surrounding schools.
Arlington currently works on the ambulance as an EMT for his hometown in Vigo County, Indiana. When time allows, he volunteers his time with the Otter Creek Fire Department as a Firefighter/EMT. Once he completes his paramedic schooling, he plans to continue to serve Vigo County as a Paramedic with Trans-Care Ambulance.
